  • Branch Collection 2

A second set of branches and a slightly advanced set of tricks - all created using my custom program in Mathematica. Zero AI. Soundtrack coded in SuperCollider in an attempt to harness Coil's legendary Sidereal Sound spatializing technique. Since they never really explained how Sidereal Sound works, I had to reverse engineer it. I'm not totally sure that I have been successful?

  • Zero Branch

I created a branching algorithm in Mathematica where every aspect of growth (e.g. number of branches, branching angle, length between nodes, etc.) - as well as how random (or not) those aspects are - is prescribed. I had endless hours of fun creating these. YouTube probably isn't the right format to enjoy this; consider pausing and really getting a good look at some of the patterns that grab you. There are a million little stories in each one.

  • Branching Algorithm Animator - Crown Shyness

My first few experiments with a branching algorithm animator I built from scratch in Mathematica - I could watch it forever:)

  • A relative, common and harmless to you

When I encountered this fella all by myself in late summer sun I let out an audible sound of astonishment and surprise

  • Mug-of-tea-sized Lake Michigan

This is certainly always possible at any speed at any size, I’m guessing

  • Backside of storm that caused 8+ tornadoes in Chicago

The atmosphere is a bubbling liquid only slower and gassier

  • Ray's Catch-All Sustainability Presentation

As I state at the beginning, this is a rather disjointed presentation in which I call attention to pretty much ALL of the sustainability-related insights and ideas I have encountered over the past 10 years all collected in one place. I hope it is useful as food for thought.
